Johanna Schwaiger

Schauspielstudio Marburg

Johanna Schwaiger was born in Graz in 2001 and discovered her interest in art and theater at an early age. Before and after finishing school, she was already actively involved in the independent theater scene in Graz and performed, for example, at the "Spleen" festival, in the street performance "ad hoc" and at the Theater am Ortweinplatz.

She has been studying acting at Graz University of the Arts since 2020 and has taken part in productions at Schauspielhaus Graz and various international collaborations, such as a cooperation with the ArtEZ School in Arnhem and the "International Classfest Festival" in Chisinau, as part of her studies. In the course of this festival participation, she won an award for a new interpretation of Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream directed by Ute Rauwald. The following year, she won the ensemble prize at the German-speaking drama school meeting in Potsdam for the production TEMP:est.

Johanna Schwaiger has been a member of the acting studio at the Hessisches Landestheater Marburg since the 2023/2024 season. She was seen in the productions of "Ein Sportstück" and "Woyzeck".
